My husband and I have been trying to conceive for 3 years now. We have been to 3 doctors and are now working with a very good doctor for a year and a half now. And i get delayed almost every month and when we try to do a home pregnancy test, it always give us a negative result. It really breaks my heart to see my husband's face turn sad everytime he see the negative result. It's been six months since we last did a home preg test since my doctor made me take pills to regulate my period and just have taken my 1st treatment of Clomiphene and still waiting for my next period or for a preg test. What if we get another negative result? What can i do to give my husband an encouragement of some sort so he will not feel bad in case we get another negative preg test result this time?

Although I've only recently started trying to get pregnant, I've dealt with a handful of negative results. I've shed some tears of disappointment and shed some tears over possible disappointments in the future. The only thing I can say is to keep your head up and do your best to not focus on not getting pregnant consume your life. I know it's easier said than done, but the stress that either one of you experiences over this may affect your chances. I'm a firm believer that things happen for a reason and remember that when it's meant to be, it's meant to be. Remind yourself and your husband that your time will come when it's suppose to. Do your best to remind him how much you love him and that you guys are in it together! Go out and have a date night...focus on enjoying each others company. My husband and I have been making an effort to have date night once a week to help me keep my mind off of getting pregnant. It's worth focusing on your relationship! Take care and good luck!

I've been there. Just keep going. It might be some comfort to know that very few women are completely unable to get pregnant. With the majority of us, they WILL find a way. It might take some time, but they should be able to get you there. They just need to figure out exactly what combination of drugs and treatments you need. With me, once I started on the clomid, I took 6 treatments of it (each with a stronger dose.) The clomid didn't work, so we went to injectibles. I got pregnant on the 2nd round of injectibles. It is absolutely the MOST frustrating thing you can go through, and time seems to almost stop, because your whole life is lived in what seems like two week increments. (Take this pill, wait two weeks, take a blood test, wait two weeks, take these pills, wait two weeks, etc. etc.) Just keep your chin up as best you can, and tell yourself that it's just a matter of time before they get the right combination of stuff for you. Best of luck to you!

I'm sorry to hear that, please do not give up. I speak from personal experience, this also happened to me and I know how you feel when the test is negative but I just kept on trying and it happened.

What you need to do is figure out when you are ovulating and make sure that you have sex within those 14 days and you will be amazed it will happen. I have 4 children now this all by knowing when I was ovualting... Good Luck to you and it will happen..

This passage would help me through the tough times:

Jeremiah 29:11

"For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

there are many other powerful verses in the Bible.
