Yes, it is very funny. However, to really enjoy it you have to watch it a few times to get to know the characters. You miss a lot of the humor if you don't know their stories. I've been watching for over a year now and when I watch the reruns they're even funnier than the first time I saw them.

Yes, it's hysterical! The British version is good but I find the American one funnier. I can't get enough of Dwight being victim of Jim's pranks and Steve Carell is awesome!

The American version is really funny. If you see the British version before, you might like it - but I recommend just watching the American show.

Yes, it's very funny, but not in the American sit-com way that most of us are used to. They don't tell "jokes" in the place of dialog, they don't set up "jokey" situations the way sitcoms do, and they don't have a laff-trak to tell you when you should be laughing.
It's different enough to be revolutionary--it's a very "adult" concept, I would say.

I like it a lot but get sick of the boss. I think Dwight is the funniest. I did watch the British version and thought it was depressing.

you'll either love it or hate it. Give it three episodes.
I think it's the best show on TV, but for many it's an acquired taste.

I find it to be intellectually hilarious.
With a lot of teenage humor thrown in there, such as the "That's what she said" moments.
