Any General Macarthur, history buffs?

Does anyone know when Macarthur said "Men will not fight and die without knowing what they are fighting and dying for"

Was it in a speech or just an off-the-cuff remark?

This quote was made during a speech at Soldier's Field. I found this quote attributed to this speech on two or three different sites; I listed one of them below.
