I used to use Winmx all the time, it didn't put the spyware on your computer like limewire can. If you go with limewire, be sure to use the lite version. it's suppose to be spyware free as well.
watch out for the music industry, they aren't playing around anymore. You're better off spending a couple of bucks at itunes, then being at risk of being sued by a bunch of billionaires.
