I have an HP Deskjet D4160 and I keep getting a error that says printer is out of paper, but there IS paper. What should I do? I have tried everything.

There is usually a small microswitch where the paper tray meets the feed, make sure it is free of dust and debris.

Open the printer to where you see the Ink Cartridges, and the Long metal bar, and remove the paper, use a can of compressed air, and blow the dickens out of it, it sounds like the sensor is dusty or broke that senses the paper loaded or not.. And make sure the paper is inserted all the way in and the slide guide is butted against the paper. Good Luck

How MUCH paper...

If there is only a few sheets left, some printers will say that there is no paper left.

Remove the paper. Restart, fill the paper and try again. If that doesn't work. There is probably something stuck inside.

you should try to position the paper in different ways (a little bit more to the front or a little bit more to the back)

Because the paper sensor is bad.
