No, and I'll tell you why.
My theory is that most cops were the kid in school that everyone busted on. It's payback time for those D-bags.
So, if I were a cop, I wouldn't be your friend, I'd just pretend to so I could finally think I was cool.

It's hard to say. I would hope my friends wouldn't try to get over on me if I was a cop. I might let speeding slide.

I may reduce the speeding ticket but the shoplifting hell no because that affects everyone when people steal it raises the cost of things.

I would not arrest you but beat the crap out of you several times for putting me in that situation
to you it is a pair of jeans of something to me it is a career
ad food on the table
so you would not get arrested but watch out

There's a big difference between shoplifting and speeding. Speeding I'd let you slide but not shoplifting.

I would. Work is work but friendship is forever. Once and only once would you get a free pass though. And I would let that be known.
