Being a dwarf involves more than being short. The dwarfs have almost normal head and torso, but the arms and the legs are smaller than they (proportionally) should be. So I guess that if you were a dwarf in the technical sense, you wouldn't ask this question (therefore you are not a dwarf in the technical sense). Besides, I have seen men that were shorter than you. And people from the nord do have this tendency of being quite tall.

Nope. This is the definition on Wikipedia:

According to the Little People of America, the human definition of dwarfism is "a medical or genetic condition that usually results in an adult height of 4'10" (147 cm) or shorter for men and 4' 7" (139 cm) or shorter for women, although in some cases a person with a dwarfing condition may be slightly taller than that."

A dwarf is 4"10 and under. Many, many cultures consider 5'10" a great height. It is true that the Police depts in CA had to change their policy of not allowing a male officer to be 5'10" tall, since we have so many Native Americans, Spanish people, and other cultures, many Jewish people..........who have reached their normal height of around 5'10". It was the discrimination suit that got the police to change their rules. (Again, if you don't like a law, fight, legally and passively with logic, to change it!). My brother if 5"10" and wanted to be a police officer when he was young. He was not allowed to be, due to his height. That would not happen, in today's world. You are a good height! Enjoy it!

A dwarf is an adult who is under 4 feet tall. They also have normal-sized head and hands on a child-size body, normal-width arms and legs that are child's length. They are disproportioned and look odd.
If you are well proportioned, you are simply not tall. Don't worry about it. Look at all the supermodels dating men much shorter than them....it's what you have to offer that counts. Treat them like princesses and they'll treat you like a king.

To be classified as a dwarf then you must be shorter than five foot.
If you are 5.10 inches tall then you would be Tom Thumb

if you're a dwarf, that would be awesome!!

i think you're talking about a midget, you have to be around 5 feet for that. most non native people would be short there compared to those girls. most girls and alot of guys (most guys are in the mid 6ft range) here in the US are that height.

NOT AT ALL! In fact relatively average for a male - if not slightly taller than average.
Rest well knowing that American actor Matthew McConaughey is also 5'10" :)

No to be classed as dwarf you have to be under 4ft 7ins. Dwarfs are now vertically challenged people by the way, although if your under 4'7 I think your vertically defeated.
