I have a relative whose moods change from day to day. One day she is angry and the next she is compuslive. Sometimes she is happy but it is rare. She does not work, have friends, and lives at home. Do you think there is anything that can help her? She has tried medication and therapy to no avail. Thanks

You could look into either a Choline vitamin supplement and Flax Oil. Both at a health food store. If you check the net on both you'll find the information interesting.

Ginseng, Ginkgo Biloba. If she kept a full time job, by the end of the year she'd be fine, I think that is really the only way, NO supplement replaces the proud feelng of an honest days work.

....I bet she smokes too, that doesn't help.

Grief counseling. She is exhibiting the symptoms of complicated bereavement.
