Reset it by holding down "Menu" and the middle button for 5 seconds. The apple logo will appear and the problem should be fixed. This usually does the trick!


(not to sound rude, but the battery does not come out without professionals so don't do that!)

all you need to do is press and hold the menu and action (middle) buttons at the same time.
i hope your iPod troubles work out for you.

yeah if you push the action and the menu button at the same time. IT WORKS REALLY! I just froze my dad's and i got it to work by pushing those two buttons.

turn it off and turn it back on again. remove the battery and put it back in.
