Im a plus size model here in Atlanta.

Basically, a paid shoot is when you are being paid to model.
A TFP is Trade For Photos, so when you model instead of getting paid they compensate you with pictures for your portfoilio.
A TFCD is the same as a TFP, except you get the pictures on a cd for the computer.

TFP/TFCD means "time for prints" and "time for cd's" meaning the model and photographer get to have the photographs and that's it, no money changes hands. In a paid shoot, the model pays the photographer or the photographer pays the model for their work. For a new model or new photographer, TFP is a way for them to get some photos to show to prospective clients.
