If they are both things you are passionate about then go for it! It's always good to have more vets out there! And being a vet will help you when you become a breeder. That way if there are any complications during the breeding and birthing process, you've got a vet on the scene!

Just know that both are going to take up a lot of time. Being a vet is something for those who are sincerely dedicated, and if you are then more power to you! Breeding is also hard work and expensive. Each animal needs to be taken care of. Your best bet is to read up on each. If after reading all the details you still want to be a breeder/vet then go for it! And I wish you all the best!

Being a vet is a very good idea - it's a lot of hard work, but a true animal lover will find it very rewarding.
If you love dogs and in particular rottweilers, instead of breeding, you might try working with a rescue league. So many people breed animals that there are many purebred animals out there that need homes. Try working with a rescue league and learning about all of the good, purebred rottweilers that need homes before deciding if being a breeder is the right move. If you try that and still decide that breeding is right for you - good luck.

You can be a dog breeder if you have the experience, but you cannot legally call yourself a vet if you do not have a doctorate. If you perform typical vet practices, you will have to deal with the law. Consider being a veterinary technologist if you do not want to go through the schooling to get your doctorate. It's only two years average.

I think you should be what you want to be and don't let anyone tell you that you can't. Do what you want to do, you only have one life to do it.
