My husband and I are expecting a little girl in May and are so excited, but we are having a hard time picking a name. We like the name Olivia but can't think of a middle name, any suggestions?? We are thinking classy and sweet!!

Just one word of caution on Olivia- that is currently in the top 5 names in popularity for girls in the US right now- so its pretty likely that she will have 2-3 other little girls with the same name as her at school. So- as long as you are cool with that- how about Olivia Katherine?

Olivia was one of the names I LOVED for a girl. Great name. As for a middle name, I've always really liked Grace.

I think Olivia Grace is beautiful.

Other suggestions:

Olivia Nicole
Olivia Marie
Olivia Kay
Olivia Michelle

Congratulations!

Olivia Grace. Olivia Kimberly. Olivia Kay. Olivia Rae. Olivia Alexis. Oliva Marie. Olivia Christine...Just keep doing that with different ones, if you don't like any of them. Whatever rolls off your tounge the best, I say go with! You're going to be yelling it for many years to come!! I know when my mom uses my middle name I've done something to tick her off! :o)

Olivia is a pretty name... how about Olivia May, for the month she'll be born, and if she's late, she can be Olivia June lol. Here's hoping she's born in late May, then she'll be a gemini, and gemini's rule.

p.s. i also like Skye as a middle name

Since Olivia has 4 syllables, I would choose a middle name with just one syllable...something simple, yet feminine, like Rose, May, Shea, or Bree. Of course, it all depends on your last name and how it all goes together.

Olivia Claire sounds nice. Just be sure to keep initials in mind before filling out the birth certificate. If our first son had been a girl we had planned on naming her Skye Taylor. . . our last name begins with "D"...not good initials.
