Okay, I may be way off base on understanding your question. But here's a try: If I have two triangles, I would NAME the specific triangles based upon the letters assigned to each vertex or corner. Therefore, I could have triangle ABC and Triangle YXZ. In any one polygon, a letter will be used only once, because each letter stands for a different unique vertex. A hexagon has six points, six different letters. And so on. Is this what you had in mind?

Let me show you on this answer page: An example of what you mean is: BOB. Spelled backward and forward, it's spelled the same way. Respectfully, having no other letters or punctuation to work with, what can you do but use the letters only once?
