I think things will slow in the first half of the year. Like Lockheed, it was up over a hundred for a while, then the North Koreans said they were going to take it down a notch. Still, the US military needs to rebuild its stocks, yet that won't happen until the Iraqi expense is either settled or an end in sight. So I think things will cool for a while. Airlines will be slow until bankruptcies and operational snafus are settled. Oil will likely decline and business start booming again in summer, so airlines will start shelling out for more planes.

But then they won't stay there. Some hotheads will rile the Russians, or the Chinese, or any of a dozen Islamic nations with a perpetual chip on their shoulder. Aerospace and defence will be hot and heavy like a teenage in the back seat with Beyonce for a while afterwards.

I believe the cycle is still in play for a couple of years. Even with the Dems taking congress defense spending will stay strong. Also world wide defense spending will remain strong.

In my personal opinion, they won't go down.

They may increase if we go to a war with iran.
Monst likely they will have modest increases.
