what kind of mentos do i need and how many mentos should i drop in the coke?

When I did the experiment, I took a 2-liter of DIET coke, and 3 mentos and then I dropped them into the 2-liter, then after I dropped them in I ran... it was awesome!

Plain mentos work best, although other types can also do the trick. You will need about half a roll but it will be difficult to get in much more than that because the reaction with the diet coke will already be happening.

well , i think is more about your breathe rather than mentos or coke.....If you have a dragon breathe that even you know is tough to say hiiii..... Well have a mento and brush your teeth every 3 meals, really I know that is sounds like a dental commercial lol... But how many people do that??
And about the coke , I think even if you put a mento it will always affect your breathe.....

Use Diet Coke...put the mentos in and watch the explosion...my nephews drove me nuts doing this stunt over and over last summer.

I don't think it matters what color, we used white. when you put a handful of Mentos candy into a bottle of diet soda? ... Mentos, Diet Coke It explodes like a Geyser

Some friends of mine were talking about this yesterday. You only use one(don't think the variety matters). They say that the key is playing with the liquid level in the coke bottle(lower than full, but they couldn't remember which was the best). Have fun, make sure you do this somewhere safe.

you need the minty type of mentos.
you should also use 6 or more mentos when droping it in the coke.
