Considering how the United States 60% of the worlds grain, any country that "wants us gone" also wants to sign its own death warrant since they would starve without grain purchased from or donated by the United States.

Furthermore, the savage tribes (aka. the other "nations" of the world) have no say in our ability to exist as a democracy and lack to power to destroy us militarily. Thus, they can "want us gone" all they wish but lack the ability to effect this disgusting desire.

I agree. The reason is the West(that's U.S.A. according to the Book of Daniel) will rage in war, but not as the top dog any longer. Iran is (Persia in the Book of Daniel) and the North is(Russia) in Daniel, they will team-up and attack Israel, then the South is (Egypt) will attack Russia, then the East is (China) will march 200 million men across the Euphrates River in Iraq.
All the while the E.U. that includes America will be waging war with Iran & Russia, for these two Countries will attack Isarel and all HELL breaks loose for seven years. Russia and Egypt will regroup and attack again, but God will wipe them out. It will take 7 years to burn all of the firearms used for this horrible war. This will be a nuclear war. So Iran and Bush will continue to agitate each-other, but it will not make a difference. This has been planned for a long time. Those that are Christians will be raptured out before all of this horror begans, This is punishment for all evil and wickedness while you have been on this earth. If you don't know God the Father and Jesus Christ the Son and The Holy Spirit you are lost.

If you do not belong to God through REPENTANCE, then you will spend eternity in Hell with Satan and the rest of evil.

We are Rome, decadent and self-absorbed, overly focused on pleasure. We believe that our way is the best and only way. We are the wealthiest nation in the history of the world that offers its citizens more rights and opportunities than any citizenry has ever been offered, and yet Americans complain persistently while they run up consumer debt for more products that just end up getting thrown in the garbage.

We have lost the ability to objectively look at ourselves or to even be able to somewhat understand how others see us. For example, if China had the largest military in the world and the largest annual military budget every year for just about ever, wouldn't Americans be worried about Chinese hegemony? Yet, we have the largest military in the world that is heavily funded each year and we are confused why other countries worry about American military might.

So my friend, I believe our comeuppance is coming, and, unfortunately, we probably deserve it. However, it is not too late to change.

America will come real close, at the least. But not because of politics. Many confuse this war with that. Radical Islam couldn't care less what we do politically. They are fighting a jihad war. It's all about religion to them. They find our system, beliefs, and lifestyles corrupt and unholy. Our downfall will come do to those in and out of Washington who believe we are in a war that can be negotiated out of. Or gave up on before we win.

Of course it is. It's a "me first" society. Manners are rare. Abortion has made life cheap. Liberal views on a big government and rules and laws for everthing and everyone has put a huge dent in the old ways of charity and neighbors helping neighbors. Political correctness has even changed the way we talk if not think. What's so wrong about profiling, you know we all do it.

Rome Wasn't Burnt in a Day: The Real Deal on How Politicians, Bureaucrats, and Other Washington Barbarians Are Bankrupting America

Here's the Real Deal! The same Washington politicians who took control of Congress by promising to balance the federal budget are now bankrupting America by launching the biggest spending spree in the history of the United States.

With big spending Democrats at their side, President George Bush and his "conservative" Republican Congress have controlled the government's checkbook while the national debt has skyrocketed past seven trillion dollars. That's right, $7,000,000,000,000. How has the party of Reagan become the party of big government spending?

Now former Republican congressman Joe Scarborough delivers a scathing indictment of Republicans and Democrats alike in the same informed, hard hitting, and entertaining style fans of Scarborough Country have come to admire. Having had a ringside seat during his four terms in the House of Representatives, Scarborough gives the inside scoop on how Washington really works and on the spending orgy the Republicans have fueled the last ten years.

The story begins with Newt Gingrich's Contract with America and the Republicans promising to balance the budget and reform Washington. It culminates with a Republican president continually rubber stamping pork filled appropriations bills that squander taxpayer dollars. That is, unless you think it's necessary to spend millions of dollars on research into "alternative salmon products" in Alaska, or the study of crickets in Utah, or of sea turtles in Hawaii. Sadly, these instances merely hint at the gross spending by Congress.
