From what I've read, there's a lot of stretching and adjusting going in your tummy region in early pregnancy.. so it's not unusual to get weird pains or cramps.. but if it gets really bad, you should go see a doctor. Good luck!

I think you should see a doctor even though it is normal to have pains during pregnancy, but you must also remember that miscarriages usually happens within 12 weeks. Are you spotting blood? some doctors will tell you it is normal to spot early on the pregnancy and that it's just a sign of old blood, well I was told that and the next day I had a miscarriage. Just be sure you are giving the appropriate info and if you have any doubts get a second opinion. My first successful pregnancy I had an ultrasound at 9 weeks and I was able to see everything. To be safe have them give you an ultrasound and don't let them tell you it's too soon. I'm not saying you should stress yourself out or become paranoid. Just listen to your body and natural instincts.

If you are only about 6wks along right now, I would guess that your uterus is stretching and pulling a little bit to start making adjustments for the baby. I'm 37wks with baby number 2 and I had achy, annoying pains from about 4wks until about 8-9wks. It will go away for awhile and then come back when you get a lot further down the road and the baby is really demanding room.

I have the about the same feeling at work. I am four weeks and a few days. The pain goes away when I stand up. I think it has to do with pressure. I don't think its anything to worry about, but I would make sure its not an ectopic pregnancy. I am sure you have already gone to the doctor, so you should be fine. I bet its just pressure and the baby's rapid growth adjusting to the womb.

Congrats on your coming baby!!!
If your only 6 weeks along then you should get ready for all sorts of weird pains and feelings. Its going to get worse before it gets better. Remember that you are doing some very odd things to your body! I'm guessing that this is your first baby right? As the baby grows your womb (and everything around it) grows, streaches or is being shoved around.
Good Luck and God Bless!!!
