will restricting gay rights force more people to be straight?

Unfortunately Yes.

When Gays do not have any rights, it means that life is difficult for them.

This discourages some people from being gay. Of course it will not eliminate gays, but it will reduce the number of gays.

Any action (legal or illegal) which discourages a certain behavious will lead to supression of that behaviour.

For example you will not find many Churches or Temples in certain Islamic countries , that does not mean that there are no christians or hindus in these islamic countries or that all have converted to islam , it only means that the local environment is not very supportive towards other (non-muslim) religons - thats all.

I'd love to hear what you think about yourself. From the two lines you wrote there, I can get a very good impression on you without ever saying 1 word to you. I can guess you probably think of yourself as a good and moral person. Although your talk of restricting basic human rights of expression and belief, and forcing people into a false-lifestyle to make others happy denies you being a good person. Restricting rights removes the "freedom" from a country. So if you want to live in a country that would be classified as a dictatorship then why don't YOU move to one of those countries? Where this, and numerous other things ARE restricted already. I'm sure you'd love that.

No, of course not. But, restricting gay rights COULD cause alot of moves to Europe and other overseas countries where homosexuality is becoming more and more accepted. I know I'M planning on moving to Europe because I feel like I'd have more freedom as a gay guy there than I would in the US. But no, restricting gay rights wont force more people to be str8, you just can't FORCE me to like girls, it's just not gonna happen (trust me, I've tried to force MYSELF before). Just like it's probably not possible to force you to like guys. It's all inside intimate feelings, and nothing society does can change those feelings. Loves,

for fcuks sake are you serious you can't force people to be straight anymore than you can force people to be gay restricting rights would be wrong and immoral!! if certain rights were taken away it wouldn't affect sexual orientation if you think that you must have only just landed on the planet everyone entitled to the same rights if you can't cope with that i suggest you crawl back under whichever place you crawled out from and stay there or grow up and get some common sense

Now that is just a silly question
People that are gay les or trans do just wake up one morning and think I'll become gay today and maybe stright tomorrow Huh
It's what they are and nothing will change that
They have had a long battle to get the rights they have now and try take them away and world war 2 would look likes childs play

Limited studies show that children of gay parents have a higher percentage of being gay. Anytime something is taboo, it has an effect on the way people think. If on the other hand, gays get through their agenda in public school and tell all people to experiment with their sexuality at ridiculously young ages, people will experiment with homosexuality who would not of otherwise. There is no proof people are born that way but gays will try to desperately convince people of this. People are born with tendencies, perhaps, but acting on them is 100% purely a choice.

No, because no one can "straighten" someone out. It is a personal feeling that can't be helped. Thats like forcing someone not to like vegetables, and thats just not possible, because no matter what, that person can't just all of a sudden make themselves not like something like that.. On the other hand, the gay issues being brought up might allow people to think about the concept of "Gay" over, and your suggestion may backfire by actually making more people gay.

hell no! I don't know why you even ask that. you can't change who you are. if going to hell according to the bible if you go out with the same sex doesn't scare us then restricting gay rights won't. The only thing that will happen is war and I really mean War. Plus there is to many people who read and write stories about gay and lesbains for people to be allowed to restrict gay rights. and if they do I'll get my gun ready for War War 3

No, because being gay is not a choice. You cannot "make" a gay man or woman straight. I have plenty of gay friends and I know for a fact that they didn't choose to be gay, just like I didn't choose to be straight. No one chooses who they're going to have an erection over. You don't look at a woman and think to yourself, "I am now going to have an erection." It just happens.
