They move, support, and protect the body. They also produce red and white blood cells (in the marrow) and store minerals like calcium and phosphorous.

They protect internal organs (skull protects the brain, ribs protect heart and lungs, etc.) and provide a frame to support the body, too. They also work in conjunction with muscles, tendons, ligaments, etc so that individual or whole parts of the body can move.

Other then provide structure your bones are the site where B cells are made-the immunological cells that provide the nonspecific inate immunity. B cells make antibodies and antibodies attach to foreign/altered self cells (cancer or virus infected cells). B cells make up a huge part of your immune system/play an enourmous role in the cascade of events that occur when your immune system is triggered, to put it simply. Without your bones their might as well be no immunity and you and I would be dead in a matter of hours, unless you live in a bubble.

they are the internal structure for your entire body. they are not hard but soft and hollow. the different parts of bone provide protection, structure and shelter for such organs as the brain, lungs, bladder spleen and intestines.

1. Protect our organs. e.g protect our hearts and lungs in the thoracic region.

2. Engage in Movement. e.g we run on our legs.

3. Produce blood. e.g our leg, have bone murrows that recycle and produce our blood.

they are the building blocks of your body. they hold up your flesh and organs and well..... everything that is not bone is flesh. they keep everything together.
