Myspace has a lot of viruses on there, it is very, very harmful, but once you have an Aunti Virus protection installed on your compluter, plus a firewall and spyware protection, you can have a safe browse.

not directly but bulletins can carry viruses. ones that have been goin around say stuff like " my friend won a $500 gift card from macy's" or "get a free coach purse".... all have free stuff in them. if u click on the images its steals your myspace info and will post the same thing to all of your friends as a bulletin and u don't even know it. so if u get a bulletin from a friend that u dont think they sent, tell them, they need to change their password... and if u have tried to "get" any of this "free stuff" u need to check bullentins you've sent to see if there are ones u know u didnt send, and change ur password....

i think myspace itself is pretty safe. ALWAYS check the web address before you sign in to make sure you're actually signing in to myspace and not a look-alike site that just wants to steal your password so that they can advertise through you by posting bulletins under your name!
