It's ok depending on the plant and if your sure that no chemicals were used in the soil or plant.

Here is some other helpful info:

They should be feed:

45% leafy greens such as escarole, dandelions, endive, mustard, and collards, NO lettuces! They aren't good for him.
45% hard mixed veggies such as an orange flesh squash the harder the better(acorn,pumpkin,butternut... fresh green beans, fresh peas, parsnip, and green bell peppers, NO broccoli or cauliflower!
10% fruit such as figs, papaya, mango, pear, and berries. NO bananas, only very rarely as a treat.
NO ANIMAL PROTEIN such as bugs, meat, eggs, or cheese!

Temperature:

They need a basking area of 95-100 and normal temps of 75-85. NO heat rocks!

Hydration

They should also get baths everyday or so. And should have a water bowl in their cage.

Vet:

You should take your Iguana for regular vet checkups to make sure it is in good health. Reptiles can have internal parasites that can harm them so you should make sure the vet checks that.

Check out this website, it was recomended by my vet. It tells you safe plants and other really good info.

The only Plant I know of for sure that is safe, is a Pothos vine. They eat the leaves, little extra nutrients. That is if you don't mind it eating your plant. But I would defintely research your plant. many are poisonous and toxic to iguanas and lizards. While I'm on the subject, don't give your iguana spinach. It is highly toxic and strips their calcuim level and can be fatal. They need a 2:1 ratio, calcuim/plosphorus and encouragement to drink water.

Should be find depending on how deep your aqaurium is and how close to the top it is. Iggy's will climb up things in the cage and jump out (you'de be surprised how good of jumpers they are). It isn't harmful for them in anyway. Just make sure there is LOTS of room from the top of the plant to the top of the aqaurium. Even if you have a mesh over the top of the aqaurium. My iggy's have been known to push their way out.

I wouldn't do it. You don't know where that dirt has been. You don't know what pesticides. What if the Iguana is thinking about a family. Will the DDT in the soil make the shells thin?
Wash thoroughly what ever you put in.

It depends on the plant. It has to be one that the iguna can safely eat (he will eat it!)
