Yes I agree. Bisexual males do have a great fear of being outed as evidenced by a bi Guy I started seeing this past summer. He eventually dumped me for a Woman at his prybetarian church whom he had taken a liking to nine months earlier. He's an American of Dutch-English-German extraction from the state of Michigan. After destroying several same sex relationships in Ontario California where he previously resided he now wants to marry a woman he's been dating in Etobikoke Ontario Canada where he now lives in the hopes that this will cure his same sex desire problem. His siblings and parents back in rural Michigan are I'm assuming very homophobic. Could this be a trait of his ethnicity? Blueberry Farmers in the country sides of Northern Michigan aren't gonna be very gay friendly if he choose a life partner that was not of the opposite sex and all his friends at church and work are all for the most part straight. 47 years old and still in the closet. Oh well there you go.

Well, supposedly gays and straights are "gayist" about bisexuals.
This is because people who arn't bisexual don't always understand. some people just think that bisexuals just "cant make up their mind"... but, as a bisexual, I find that I just live my life and when I get attracted to someone, its just that I don't judge myself if its a guy or girl. Sometimes I get attracted to a guy, sometimes its a girl. As a bisexual I don't see a problem, I am attracted to a person for them, not for what their genitalia looks like.

Its the straight girls who go around making out with girls at clubs that give bisexuals a bad name... when bisexuals arn't really like this (though some may be, but not most)

I accept them and support them for ring brave enough to say te are LGBT. People go use gay as an insult are stupid because you wouldn't use straight as an insult. The gender of who you are attracted to shouldn't matter as long as you are a kind person. I am bi and I accept myself now as being bisexual. I hate people who judge other people based in their sexual orientation

I think gay is viewed as more acceptable to most people than bisexual. While people may be distressed or disturbed by the idea of someone being attracted to their own sex, duality is harder to deal with-the idea that someone might be attracted to both men and women is even more difficult to understand. We're very comfortable and familiar with having to choose apples or oranges, chocolate or vanilla. But wanting vanilla with hot fudge isn't the option that most of us think of right away.

Hi Graham, I would think gay is more accepted. Bisexals like both sex and are more likely to hang on to this life style and never change with wanting both sexes. Gays stick with the same sex parnters and are more loyal that a bisexual would be. At least that's the way i see things. A FRIEND.

Gays do not come out of their closet and Bi's act as they are straight. In most of the societies both are not accepted.

Neither are really accepted because some people take being bi as being totally gay anyway...or some people are just discusted by it....but i think bi is better than being completely gay.

bisexual and gay people aren't accepted. I know there's women out there who wouldn't sleep with a man knowing that he's bisexual but wouldn't mind having gay friends and I also think it's OK for you to be gay as long as you're not feminine. If you're gay you have to be "straight-acting" masculine to be tolerated and accepted.
