Sketch gragp of h(x)=cosx

a. Sketch a tangent line at the point (0,1). Write a formula for the slope of the secent line joining the point (x,cosx) and (0,1)

b. Evaluate the formula for x=0.1 and x=0.01

c. Find the exact slope of the tangent line to h at the point (0,1)

d. using diritive confirm the answer

e. Find equation of the tangent line to h at the point (0,1)

I know how to graph it just having trouble with finding the slope

a) Slope = (cosx -1 ) / x
b) for x = .1 , s = -1.523086 E(-5)
....for x = .01, s = - 1.5231 E(-6)
c) Get the limit of s as x tends to zero, U get s=0
d) dh/dx = - sinx so at x=0 dh/dx =0 ( the tangent slope
e) the equation is : y =1

So the the tangent at a point (a,b) so b=cos( a)would be

y-cos(a)= -sin(a)*(x-a)
