We most definitely evolved from what most people would call "apes". But we did not evolve from any of the species of apes that currently live on the planet. If you go back far enough you could say that we evolved from fish, or even further and we evolved from a prokaryotic unicellular creature that didn't have much in common with us at all.

It is arrogant and absurd to suggest that humans are somehow disconnected from the evolutionary chain (ie - that aliens came from space and had sex with a monkey making humans, or that we are descended purely from aliens). In reality, an oak tree and a human share a majority of their DNA! A chimpanzee and a human share over 90% of their DNA! If that's not evidence for a common ancestor I don't know what is.

In the beginning we were all small organisms with no more than a couple of cells and a nucleus. As we evolved and adapted to our changing environments we become something of a man/ape. We kept changing and here were are today man and most apes share more than 90 percent of the same DNA. No we did not come from aliens in space.

We're originally some kind of organisms and evolved to be an ape, and then we eventually became who we are today, humans.

The main concern should be: where did all these organisms come from? Out from space? Some other parts of this Universe? No one knows for sure as of today. So, it maybe a possibility that we (once some kind of organisms) are from some kind of alien species.

In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move.

In those days spirits were brave, the stakes were high, men were real men, women were real women and small furry creatures from Alpha Centauri were real small furry creatures from Alpha Centauri.

we came from the ape species because apes are closer to humans than any other animal...but i'm just guessing!

We and apes came from a common ancestor.

Of course, we and a Praying Mantis probably came from a common ancestor too.

It's my understanding that they can manipulate many types of DNA into humanoid or bi-pedal life forms. They have also mastered artificial life forms as well. Anyone who has mastered space flight has more than likely mastered immortality and genetic research.

And they make fun of Christians for believing God created man. It's just people wanted so bad to deny there is a God they will reach for any theory no matter how far out there because science cannot adequately explain the origins of life.

Darwin's theory doesn't hold water. The Big Bang doesn't really do it for me either: what was here to cause the bang? Creationism was man's way of interpreting what they could not logically explain, through God. Maybe God was the big bang? Maybe He moved us from another galaxy; maybe we are planet hoppers? Maybe all our theories are God's way of keeping us from the truth? Who really knows?
