Not really, no. I like it when it's melted on a burger but I don't have cheeseburgers often so, for the most part, American cheese and I only peacefully co-exist by ignoring each other.

Kinda gross especially the packaged kinds. It has to be deli. I hate the smell of the packaged kinds too!
