I had the same problem until I replaced them all with the spiral tube bulbs. The new eco-friendly bulbs last years instead of months and are much cheaper in the long run. I actually shaved $34.00 off of my monthly electric bill and that paid for 2 packages of 4 bulbs each in just the first month.

performed, over a year in the past. I ran slightly value/ earnings and elected to alter out the incandescent bulbs previously they burned out. the quicker power mark downs offset any loss on my incandescent investment. I shop the previous ones around for substitute outs in closets & different low use fixtures. by potential of gazing the sales, i'm paying $a million.04 / 60Watt equiv. (15 Watt fairly) bulb. I recycle them in a suitable vogue. it fairly is not that arduous. agencies incredibly purchase them (en mass) for Mercury recycling. Utilities have been recycling their Mercury Vapor bulbs for years so the infrastructure is there. My electric powered bill is approximately $39.00/ mo. for a 1250 squareft domicile, with an electric powered range, a 6hp air compressor and a pair of welders in the barn.

Yes just the same. They will burn just as quick. Are you telling me that you have checked the voltage, and it is too high. What in your mind it too high?

You have no other lights in the building? Is the voltage high any where else in the bldg?

Odds are you have bad light fixtures. Very seldom have I found the voltage too high. If it is, the voltage will be too high all over the bldg.

You may be using to high a wattage bulb. 60 watt bulbs are usualy max for any ceiling fixture. Anything higher will overheat itself and burn up.

Are you putting them into 240 volt circuits? That would do it.
You are more likely to have bad sockets, have them checked, then use the eco bulbs they save a lot of money and a lot of carbon dioxide

have a electrician check the line for the proper voltage output and the grounding wires ,you should not be replacing the bulbs that often ,it may be a problem that needs to be checked out by a quailfied person

Actually I've had a couple for 2 years now, and they are still going strong, and used daily.

You can actually get 6 for about $10. Not too bad considering they use 1/10th of the electricity.
