Could I move to the UK and go on the dole? I'm guessing it would be tough, but if it's possible I might consider it.

What a bunch of mean-spirited answers.

No, sorry, you can't. One of the things you give up if allowed to reside in the UK without being a Royal Subject is the right to sign on the dole. Your presence must be without recourse to public funds.

Not that what you'd get "on the dole" would be anything to write home about. If you're willing to live in a hovel and turn the heat down to about 50 degrees F and give up beer and cigs you might eek out a rudimentary existence.

Being on the dole is not fun at all. You just become a number in their system and they keep nagging you all the time with this and that.

That's the most pathetic question I've ever seen on here. Get off your butt & get a J-O-B.

The Bible says those who do not work shall not eat. Whether you're a believer or not, I hope you DO go hungry if you are too much of a bum to get a job. Geez, there are even loser single women who have little enough dignity that they would let you mooch off of them. Are you even too much of a slug to get a woman? Sad, very sad.

WORK=MONEY
NO WORK = HUNGRY

Duh!

Buy some cheap drugs, then turn yourself in to the police. You can easily spend the rest of your life in prison. No freedom, but it doesn't cost anything to leach off society that way.
