There are a number of phases to the healing. The acute swelling peaks at around three to five days and the decreases quickly. Many surgeons will give a short course of steroids to help limit this phase. The next phase resolves more slowly, over six to eight weeks. The final phase, in which the fine details of the rhinoplasty become evident requires six months to a year depending on the patient.

about 4 to 6 months for it to completely go down. It wont look strange for that long, but it will be a little swollen. After a year your nose will still feel strange and eventually all of the feeling should come back and it should be normal again
