I have a USB data cable for mine. It lets you sync the contacts and transfer pictures and ring tones on and off the phone. But it also acts up as a modem so you can access dial-up accounts that way. It works, but it is slow. There are other options if you have a phone that supports broadband connections. Usually you are looking at the more advanced phones that have Internet functionality. You would have been told about this when you bought the phone. If you have not bought one, and you want to do this, this is what you need to look for. Option three is that most big cities have wireless broadband through the cell towers. You buy a special card and hook up that way. The cards are usually PCMCIA cards for a laptop, but there are PCI adapters that could go into your laptop. It is cheaper to get a regular broadband connection, unless you want to take it with you for a laptop.

Like the others stated, yes you can - as long as some conditions are met.

Another items is that it's almost always going to require a USB connection, and many times they won't work well through a USB hub, so it has to be a direct connection.

Also, while you can get on the internet through it, it is still slow. It's not as bad as dial-up, but almost.

***DON'T FORGET*** While you can use the cellphone as your internet connection, during the time that you're online you are using airtime. If you plan on using this as anything but the occasional "backup" method, I hope you have a lot of minutes to burn off... Also, while you're on the internet through your phone, you will most likely lose the ability to use call-waiting. Once someone else 'beeps in' you will probably get bumped offline; you can disable call waiting per connection though - but no one can get ahold of you.

Yes, All you need to do is sync it up to the desktop. you will have to get the software from any place that sales software. You will have to have an unlimited data/Internet package from your phone service and it will work. Just go to your nearest Comp USA and talk to the nearest nerd and we'll help you.

yes, you can get the provided software from your cellphone company and then use that to connect to the internet through your cell phone. of course, you'll need the proper cables to connect your phone to your pc, but it is possible.

i would suggest going to your local cellphone service provider(for your company) and asking them for help on aquiring the software and correct cables.

No...you may not use it as a provider.

However, you CAN use it as a modem with the purchase of a single cable.
