I was a kid, so I knew nothing about drugs or parties. I had a bike with a banana seat. I wanted to be Bjorn Borg or Chris Evert and I played tennis and wore a sweatband. I played Pong, the very first video game. I was totally into TV, and I watched the Six Million Dollar Man, the Bionic Woman, Charlie's Angels, Wonder Woman. I rollerskated. There was some really good music (the Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, even the Bee Gees) and there was some really crap music (most of the teeny bopper stuff like Leif Garrett and Shawn Cassidy). There were good movies, which sometimes we'd go see at the Drive In theater. I went to Chicago and saw King Tut. Saturday Night Live was actually funny back then.
That's at least the G-rated fun stuff in the 1970s!

Well, we did a lot of partying, and a lot drugs. Besides, the illegal stuff, we went rollerskating every Saturday, went to football and basketball games, and school dances. Being raised in a smaller town, we mostly hung out with our friends at the local "Teen Room"...playing pool and pinball machines. In the summer we spent almost our entire days at the lake during the day, and had bonfires at night. We'd take a pillow and sleeping bag and sleep under the stars, with no tent. Oh...the good ol' days...

Not everybody did drugs in the 70's. Some of us walked, rode bikes, went the football-basketball-baseball-soccer games, visited with neighbors, watched TV, went to movies - everything that can be done today minus computers.

smoke weed take lsd and other drugs and in the late 70's we would snort coke.
