I'm wondering if anyone knows where I can get some pictures or charts that analogize a cell. Like showing it as a factory or a store or something. I'm taking a cell bio class and my teacher doesn't speak much English, so I need all the help I can get. Thanks. ;P

I found one for you, and I have supplied it as my first reference. It shows the organellese as part of a factory. The nucleus and chomosomes are blueprints and a control center. Endoplasmic reticulum is transportation with a forklift. Mitochondria is a coal-burning furnace. Ribosomes are the packaging facility and the golgi apparatus is shipping.

My second reference analogizes the cell to a town instead. Personally, I think the factory analogy makes more sense, but you might want to take a look at it anyway.
