This is one of those not-a-trick questions. You need to know the metric prefixes.

Tera 1,000,000,000,000
Giga 1,000,000,000
Mega 1,000,000
Kilo 1,000
units 1/1
milli 1/1,000
micro 1/1,000,000
nano 1/1,000,000,000
pico 1/1,000,000,000,000
femto 1/1,000,000,000,000,000

So the answer is 10, 1,000 milligrams is 1 gram

I think as a supplement there are certainly worth it if you have health problems and where fresh food and veg is not easily accessible. However, nothing can replace fresh foods stuffs, but some people find that their bodies do not absorb as many nutrients as is required by the body for it to function properly especially people who take tablets for fluid retention as often minerals are often just washed out of the bodies system.... I talking about potassium and other such valuable minerals. So in my mind vitamins are worth taking where appropriate to do so but certainly not just for the sake of doing so.
