The best way is to reformat your computer. You can also buy software that will wipe out everything from your pc including the operating system.

you want to cormat your harddrive and start from scratch. the easiest way to do this is to have the operating sytem cd you want to install and put it in your cdrive and turn off the pc and turn it back on and it will lask you some questions about repairing or formatting and installing a fresh copy of windows and thats the one you want and just follow the directions.

make sure you have your original windows install disk and product key code. internethooked up and register windows when it finishes the install. that way you wont get reminded and then locked out

Best bet is to do a complete reformat of the hard drive. Assuming you have XP, the installation CD has a utility on it for just that purpose.

go to start, control panels, add and remove programs and just delete everything then just start throwing things in the trash and then go to search in the start menu and type the word disk defragment, it takes a while but that will constrict all of your free space that you have then just start getting rid of all your personal stuff and empty recycle bin! GOOD LUCK!
