I'm trying to find a class mate of mine! He went to prison about 15yrs ago! I moved back to my home town and tried to locate his family to get his address from them but they have moved away! How can I go about finding his DOC number or even just getting the address on where he is!

Do you know why he went to prison? You could check with the newspaper about the time of his crime and see if you could find where he was sentenced to for the term of his sentence.
You might be able to get the address where he was serving his time, I know you should be able to check with the state capitol, like in Florida, it would be Tallahassee.
You might also try sending a letter to his parents last known address, it might have a forwarding address.
You can also go to the City Library and ask to see a copy of The R.L. Polk City Directory, They are updated all the time, I believe yearly, I used this to locate a step-son in Florida after not having contact with him for over 10 years
You could also check with the state to see if he has a current drivers license.

Go to your state website and look for the Department of Corrections site. You should be able to search by name of the inmate.
