I like most music. I DON'T like techno, some heavy metal bands (rage against the machine) and not really a country music fan.

I like some of the music from the 60s, 70s, 80s, bit of the 90s, a bit of country (depending on the artist) and my all time favorite is Smooth Jazz. One of my favorite artists is a female pianist from Japan by the name of Keiko Matsui (her website is: http://www.keikomatsui.com).

My absolute favorite genre of music is metal. I like all the various types (heavy, power, thrash, death, black, doom, progressive, folk). I also like "classic rock" (as much as I hate that term, it gets the point across), other various forms of rock (progressive, psychedelic, hard, blues, southern), jazz and jazz-fusion, blues, classical, post-rock, and a bit of punk.

Pretty much anything with a good beat. I don't care for twangy country though, or classical (soothes the savage beast my butt).
