I cut and I have scars and I was wondering how long they will show untill they go away or are they there for life or pretty close to it?

depends how deep they are.
but seriously, go see a doc to refer you to someone who can help with the emotional pain so you stop cutting.
i have a feeling you dont really care if the scares heal or not, this a cry for help. please go and see someone. get some help. i know, i've been there. you feel like theres no other way to get the emotions and pain out so you cut yourself to actually 'feel' pain as you feel numb.

It all dependes...i used to cut...alot. and now I only have 2 or 3 scar left (its been about a year) but some people have them forever...

Go to Walmart. They have a gel for kids that helps heals scars. It's like fer-durm-ma or something. You can ask someone that works there.

Put vaseline on them and it helps them fade. or Mederma for scars. Yes scars last forever.

It will not heal if you keep picking at it, just put some cocoa butter on it.
