My husband and i have been trying to get pregnant for almost seven months now and nothing has happened. I was on birthcontrol for two or three months. I have irregular periods. Could we not be getting pregnant because of my irregular periods or could something be wrong? I have had irregular periods pretty much after the first year i have ever started. I have gotten pregnant with my little girl and i didnt have any trouble. well it took a month or two but not this long. we are just very anxious and if something could be wrong we want to get it taken care of.

I have a 7 year old son.
And we tried and tried and tried for a second one.

After a year, I visited the doctor, and they did tests. Couldn't find anything wrong.

So, after trying for 6 years for #2, I think we're giving up.

I'm fine with that. We have one healthy active child.

My advice? Keep trying. If nothing happens at the one year mark, schedule a doctor's appointment.

Good luck.

I know how you feel! I got pregnant with my son right away - we weren't even trying at that point! Now this time around my periods are very irregular, and we're having a hard time. I am starting to chart my BBT and I have been using ovulation predictor kits for a few months off and on. I'm hoping to get a result out of that, but you really never know!! You may want to try the ovulation kits, since they work really well, and if that doesn't work, try some other methods. After a year, if you still haven't conceived, see your doctor. Good luck to you!!

Have a pre-pregnancy exam done at your ob/gyn's.I don't know what you mean by irregular periods but your Dr. can run some bloodtests to check your hormone levels. You might start charting to see if you are ovulating regularly.Depending on how old you are your Dr may make you wait a year,,if you are over 35 then he will probably see you now.Given the fact that we only have a 20-25% chance in any given month of getting pregnant it can sometimes take a year or longer to conceive.Good luck:)

If she's drowsing quality on her own then don't take her into your mattress when you go to bed. Put her down for her nap a bit of prior earlier than she starts showing indicators of being tired but on the time she most of the time starts to get tired. She will have began expecting you to move get her phase method via her nap considering the fact that that is what you do at night time. Sure go forward and let her cry at nap time if she's nonetheless tired. Let her go for approximately 10 minutes except that you can inform anything is improper. In my opinion i've an eight mo ancient that has at all times been a snooze fighter.
