What is so sad is that he was free to commit this crime. "Lack of evidence" means that no evidence was sought in the case of the prostitutes. Hopefully the authorities will be more enthusiastic about convicting and punishing him this time.

Islam says that women are not to be involved in the government and Muhammed(PBUH*) even said that if a woman ran a country that country would fail. Also she refused to wear the hijab so she was committing a crime. That's no reason to shoot her dead though. Islam respects the modesty of women so much that they shouldn't reveal their beauty to anyone except their husbands, fathers, sons, brothers, or close other male realitives and it is even backed up in the Qur'an and a strong Hadith.

It is purely religious reasons why this individual was shot. Some religious cultures require women to cover their head while in public. Some fanatical factions take extreme measures to force their religious beliefs on people that do not agree with their way of thinking. Unfortunately these people seem to miss the parts of the holy book they are reading weather its the Koran, Bible or Torah that teaches tolerance, love and forgiveness.

Many Muslims believe that ALL people should show modesty by concealing the contours of their bodies. Covering the hair and/or face is part of that. It is a way of minimizing distraction by minimizing sexuality. It makes a bit of sense, really. THe problem arises when extremists take "God's Work" into their own hands, and judge and sentence people by their own twisted rules.

Who cares WHAT mohammed says? These are countries founded by Christians! What's the point of getting a driver's license picture taken when all an officer can see is some retard concealed by a burka?? Since terrorism is largely made up of Muslims, WE WANT TO KNOW WHO YOU ARE!
While not all Muslims are not terrorists, it is an undeniable fact that most terrorists are Muslims.

you do understand that said cloth hides thier face, and relates to the sexual shame common amongst religious types. You can't walk around with your vagina out, the head, face doesn't seem so bad to you. There are nudist who say you should be free and let it hang out.
