Other than a bladder infection what else could it be??

Should i go back to the hospital and what will they do???

You could have an STD. This will not show up on a standard urinalysis. You should see your doctor asap. This is not an emergency and the Emergency Room is not the best place to be treated. See your private physician or a urologist.

It could be a prostrate infection or inflammation, in which case the anti-biotic will take care of it. If it does not get better in a couple of days you should go back to the hospital and request that they make a culture to determine what type of bacteria you have, if any. Some anti-biotic are good for some bacteria and others are good for other types, that is why there are so many different ones available.

Just make sure you take the whole prescription even if you improve, because sometimes people stop taking them after they improve a bit, the result is that the bacteria develop a resistance to it and come back with a vengeance. The second time, the anti-biotic will not be as effective any longer.
Good luck with it.

It could be a Urinary tract infection which is actually treated a little different then a bladder infection. Go to the Dr. and have them run the urinalysis and drink lots of cranberry juice and lots of water while taking the medication. If you don't do that the medications will not work because the whole point is to flush out the system. In other words make you pee alot. I would make sure you see a different doctor.

Recently, I went through this. I went to the clinic, and had them do a culture of my urine. Shockingly, they found that my son and I both had Ecoli. A totally different antibiotic was needed, and I have it. I am still taking it............Keflex. We do have a house, teensy mini-teacup toy fox terrier who sleeps with all of us, at different time...........and he is considered the culprit, by the doctors we have. However, he still sleeps with us, and we keep sanitizer RX on hand, to use on our hands and bodies each day.
Plus, we take our regular baths each day. I'm much better since the medication was changed, due to the culture showing that the antibiotic was NOT working. Get a culture done, just to be sure you are taking something that is working on your body. This is really important to do. It hurts a lot, doesn't it? There is another thing you can do: pyridiem is an over the counter drug. Take this, to ease the pain, and to make the sensation of those horrible feelings just disappear. Remember, this stuff will make your urine neon orange, so don't wear your best undies while you take this. Do not just take the pyridium (because I don't know how to spell it, I know how to say it!)..............because it masks your symptoms, and does not cure you! Get the culture done as fast s you are able to do it, and get on with getting well!

You could have a yeast infection. A yeast infection goes hand in hand w/ an antibiotic treatment. A good doctor would have known this and prescribed some cream or diflucan. A bladder infection can also go to a kidney infection so I would definately check w/ your physician.

There are a few causes of cloudiness in your urine, there's either a large amount of epithelial cells, white blood cells, and/or bacteria. None of these should be found in large quantities in normal urine.

UTI, STD, renal calculi(stones) are possible..

A high chance that it could be an UTI urinary tract infection. Go to your doctor and tell them to test you for an uti. It's probably what you have. Good luck :)

Yes. Go back. NOW. Any time you are experiencing extreme pain - that is a sign that something is wrong. I do not know what they will do. But you need to go and take care of yourself.

Good luck

you can try to get another check just in case some thing was missed the first time ask if you can have a full urinary depict done as this will tell them to check for all forms of urinary infection.
may i also suggest if you are sexually active it may be worth a trip to G.U. med and be tested their as well.
