I'm not ashamed of Jimmy Carter, I really like him, look at what he does for the poor building them houses. He couldn't run for President he is older than McCain and he doesn't want to be President again. He just wants this country run the correct way and that means a Democrat President ( A legal President for a change).

Only a rabid, ignorant republican would think that an honest, true Christian, intelligent, truly compassionate, peace-making and humanist man like Jimmy Carter, who was the best President in a generation, was actually the worst.

The truth is, Jimmy Carter LIVES EVERY DAY the faith you republicans JUST PRETEND to embrace.

Carter was the worst President since Franklin Roosevelt. 22% inflation, Amnesty to the cowards that fled to Canada, Panama Canal give-a-way, just to name a few.

I'm not a dem, but I think he was a very honest man, a rare commodity in our society. At least he got elected honestly, unlike the current executive, who got elected twice under shady circumstances. Like he's something to be proud of.

I think that Carter is a very good man, yet was a very poor president. Carter's character is wonderful. I guess great character is a flaw in US politics.

I would be, but I am not a Democrat. However, I am registered as one because in Southern West Virginia, the Republican party does not exist on a local level. Well, it exists, but there are no candidates.

He was not a very good president but has been a great ambassador since leaving office. Bush Sr and Bush Jr are not really presidents I would be hanging my hat on either.
