It depends how often you use them. My tennis team uses new balls for every match and at practice we use our match balls. Generally, I have found that balls last about a month if you get regular use out of them. If you don't play as often then they should last several months. It all depends on how hard your strokes are. Remember that if they get wet, the balls are automatically dead!

Wilson balls are the best. Wilson U.s. open are the very best...
A regular Wilson ball's duration kind of depends on how hard and how much spin you put on the ball. If you are a recreational player it could last a good two-three weeks and still bounce well.
Some people who play on tour--or just internationally always use new balls because by the time they finish practicing the balls barely bounce!
Just think, in the U.s. Open balls are changed every 6 games!!

This depends on how seriously you play and how you hit the ball. If you're a good player and hit with spin and a lot of pace you wouldn't want to use a tin of balls for more than a couple of sessions if you want a true bounce and if you want the spins to catch properly. After that they're good for serving practice and drills, but definitely not for matches.
If you're a new player you won't notice it as much and you can use them for longer. Hard to say how long that is - it depends on how often you play, on what surface, how many you use, and so on.

well in my experience wilson tennis balls have long life spans. They quickly lose their colour, but play well for a long time. I'd say that they should last one to three months. Slazengers on the other hand won't last more than 1 month.

A 3 pak of balls will start fuzzing out and losing bounce after 4 hours of continuous use (6-10 sets) on a hard court. After that, it is up to you to decide when you want to open a fresh can.
I usually open a fresh can every match and use the old balls for practice, retiring them to the ball hopper (for serve practice) after 2 additional hours of use.

The first use is always the best. even after three more tiems of use they will be good for a match.
Tennis clubs may use tennis balls for about a month or so, for recreational use, but they soon loose their normal bounce.

I only use Wilson brand. I would say give it a month if you are a recreational player.
