Yes, but you'll need to buy software to do it. Itunes was smart about making it impossible to take songs off of your ipod and put them onto your computer unless you buy seperate software. You should try google to find some software that will do it.

P.S. Just having a USB connection won't do it. You need the software. Regardless of what device you use, ie CD player, ipod, zune etc.

If you are going to transfer songs from one computer to another, if possible or if your mp3 player has hard drive capability on it, I suggest you eliminate some songs from ur mp3 if needed to increase the size of the hard drive space on your mp3 according to the size of the music folder that your music files are located in,then drag the folder to the mp3 icon in whch drive your mp3 player is located on the computer....
But if you are just looking to transfer songs straight from your Mp3 player to another computer, dont bother because once you hook up your mp3 player to someone elses computer, it will read the mp3 player as a new divice and then it will Erase whats already on your Mp3 player !!!

Connect from the headphone jack on the player to the input jack on your computer's sound card/device. I use Music Match Plus for the capture/burn/archiving software, Sony Sound Forge for fixing it up (trimming, volume adjustment, etc..). There's cheap or free software out there.
