Did she have an abusive father or did her dad abandon her at a young age?
I'm just curious as to how someone as beautiful and nice as Halle still has relationship problems even at the late age of 40.

She had a father who abused her mother and older sister. Then he left. She needs to get some serious help, but she's already 40 and at that age it's much more difficult to change.

I couple of years back, before Oscar gold, she cursed a DJ out on the air and stormed out of the interview.
As the saying goes "You can't judge a book by its cover."

I personally think that Halle has a lot of unresolved issues from her childhood that have help manifest problems in her relationships.

what you see is not always what you get......she has problems
