There are some simple things to do for better handwriting.

CONSISTENCY is the ticket for neat handwriting. It does not have to look like anyone else's, but the letter shapes must be consistent.

1. Decide which level of slant you want to use and use it alllll the time.
2. Make all the tall letters (b, d, f, h, etc) go to the same height and slant like each other
3. Make all the letters with tails (g, j, p, y, etc) go down to the same place and look like each other
4. Letter with rounded bits (a, c, o, d, p, etc) all must have the same shape of rounded bit.

And practice all the time so that you do do it the same. Until it becomes habit.

OR get a book of handwriting. I like one: "The Italic Way to Beautiful Handwriting" by Fred Eager.

I also had terrible writing. Sometimes I couldn't even read my own writing. So I learned some calligraphy which is the fancy writing you see on diplomas and other official documents. It helped me learn how to shape the letters better and make my writing more readable.

You can probably buy a book at a book store or perhaps, your school offers it in art class.

Get a handwriting book and practice. Don't expect it to happen overnight---Take a good typing class, just in case.

Keep practicing your writing. And if you really really want to improve it then I would suggest a writing book(you know, those for kids)
