KB vs MJ
Lets compare attributes

Advantage Kobe (Several TNT, NBA analysts agree on this)
2-1

Height/Reach
Advantage Kobe (Kobe 6-8 vs Jordan 6-6)
3-1

Speed
Tie
3-1

Leaping
Advantage Jordan (More dunk contest victories than Kobe)
3-2

Clutch factor
Tie (Jordan has 6 rings vs Kobe 3, but Kobe is younger, its arguably a tie)
3-2

Physical Strength
Advantage Kobe
4-2

Defense
Jordan (More BPG, More SPG, career stats)
4-3

FT
Tie, Both 83% career
4-3

Advantage Jordan (6 RPG vs 5 RPG Kobe)
4-4

Pure Scoring ability
Advantage Kobe (81 pt record in a single game, most 3s in a game record, at only 28, and one could say Kobe hasn't reached his prime yet)

Every other category I can think of is a tie. That leaves with Kobe up by 1. All intangibles held equal, I would say Kobe would win.

Kobe wins 5-4

This isn't even a question for me. I think Jordan was a better defender and possessed far more basketball smarts than does Kobe.

Nevermind the fact that Jordan's killer instinct when it comes to basketball is waaaaay more intense than Kobe's. I never felt like Jordan had a baby streak. I think Kobe has a big baby streak.

Jordan wins 40-26

Probably the best 2 offensive players of all time. Decent defensive players. I'd have to say Kobe only because he has a chip on his shoulder and that he is much more competitive - he has a fire in him that no one else has ever had.

come on now. you really have to ask. MJ would win without a doubt. How many rings does he have. There will be great players in the future but no one will ever match what Jordan was capabe of doing.
