I understand we can now use our computer to make international phone calls through the internet.

This means we can bypass the conventional international call services provided by the telephone companies and it will be very much cheaper.

May I know how do I set up such a system?

I think it is IP Telephony?

the easiest way is to install msn or yahoo messenger and buy a head set, then get your contact to do the same. then click call computer

You can use Skype, which is a free program and then $.02 a minute to many places.

download Skype from www.skype.com and you will have to use a credit card to pay for it, but it is really cheap to use.

it is : voip as they call it, you may use skype for cheap calls or voipbuster for free calls
