for me to start off in a new career direction? I just turned the big 4-0, and I'm enrolling in a floral design school. I know I have artistic ability and I've been in retail management my whole life. I'm just scared that I'm past my prime. What do you great P&S people think?

You just do what makes you smile. Life will come around. If you hesitate you'll regret it later.

Nonsense. The most interesting people I have met are those who constantly change their lives without even a concern of age. My best friend is turning 40 this year. She just graduated University for the third time in her life. You're only as old as you feel.

It's never too late to change direction, and the retail management will come in handy if you want to run your own business....

It's never too late! I won't graduate until I'm 36, and then I'll be starting my first career ever!
