Please reconsider. This will hurt a lot, and you'll be off work or school for at least a week and told not to get an erection for 4-6 weeks to avoid tearing the stitched places. When was the last time you went that many HOURS without an erection?

And then you are left with a mutilated, desensitized penis that doesn't work as well as what you've got now. Most men report greatly decreased pleasure after surgery -- read http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AqwygbpG8kSNQIcinxHJoMzsy6IX?qid=20070101193846AA385UM for an example. And 90% of women say sex is better with an intact man. Read about it at http://www.healthcentral.com/drdean/408/60750.html

Even if you have medical problems, circumcision is rarely needed, and you should ask for a second opinion.

The procedure itself shouldn't hurt (because unlike on babies, you'll actually be put to sleep) but as usual, it will hurt for a few days afterwards especially during urination and erections.

If you have any foreskin troubles, visit this link. Circumcision is rarely needed, it's just that doctors don't know how to treat an intact penis.

If you're getting it done because you want to, that's the advantage of being left uncircumcised when born; whatever you choose you'll end up satisfied because you chose it. :)

Hopefully they'll put you to sleep for the proceedure otherwise it might be a bit unbearable! The later effects are a CLEAN machine but might be out of order for a while- at least I would suspect it would be! I had mine done at birth so can't really elaborate on anything further but I have been told that it's best done at birth than when older. Who knows???

Most babies that are circumcised go into shock, because there is not pain medication or sleeping. ALso, you penis will hurt for a week or two after that.

Circumcision is good for health...penis health. As you can clean it easily. While operation...nothing you can feel. But you may feel some problem till it get OK. Please contact with a doctor and do it. Good luck.

I'm not a guy but I've heard you are just "sore" for a day or two, so plan to rest and recupe for a few days before you get back into your regular routine.

In my opinion, you're crazy. What's wrong with what you were born with?! I'm a woman and I think you're nuts. If I had a son, i'd never want him to get circumcised.
