Im playing World Of Warcraft on a PvP server...
I just wanted to know if a cat or lion is better for a pet......
i would get lion from "The CrossRoads"....Even though im a night elf hunter....Please help me

yep, cats and lions are the same as far as attack speed and skills they can learn. you just have to pick which look you'd rather have. i like this website for looking through available pet skins http://petopia.brashendeavors.net/

since you are on a pvp server start wtih the cat because you have less chance of getting killed by the horde in the x-road... then you can tame the lion at level 15 or 16 so you can survive a horde attack
look for dishu she is a great pet(lion lvl 14-15 barrens)

As of the burning crusade pets have been standardised to have the same attack speed. So there wont be much difference between a cat and a lion
The Rake from the crossroads is a nice unique pet.

I play the game quite a bit and suggest getting a Lion. It is better then the cat overall; but the cat sometimes tends to start of better.

I recommend a lion. If you have a friendly type horde on your side the lion Eyachee (I'm sure I spelled that wrong) is awesome. Silver lion and very strong.
However, the only way to get him would be to have a horde summon him and you train him.

Since the attack speed has been normalized for all pets, there is not a difference between a lion and a cat. It all depends on what you want according to looks.
