No, they will come with statistics that prove that, when adjusted for inflation, gas prices were actually higher in the 70's(of course they won't mention those were during the OPEC oil shocks)

I don't know a single conservative that drives an SUV.
THIS conservative (socially conservative anyway) doesn't even drive. Our old car was a Ford Ka. It was so small that if it broke down, we could probably carry it. We're getting a Volkswagon Golf within the next couple days. Unless Golfs suddenly became SUVs instead of hatchbacks...I guess not all conservatives drive SUVs. Go figure.
Oh, and gas prices in Western Europe are over $7 a gallon. I really am tired of hearing/seeing people that live in the States complain about the prices there.

Therefore, the answer to your question is NO.

Hold on just a second.
Rising gas prices do suck.
But this is one issue that republicans and democrats have worked hard TOGETHER to keep the cost relatively low.
Compared to every other Western nation we got it good on oil prices. Particularly when you consider that everything else in America is more expensive! the best example is drug prices here compared to elsewhere.

You may wonder oh how do they work together...
Several ways.
The demos with their nagging oversight and regulation of the energy companies. On that nessecary part of it - they are willing to be the bad guys.
The repubs with thier military execution to protect oil production.
On that part they are willing to be the bad guys.

They work together on pork barrel spending that goes into the pockets of Big Oil (which is taxpayer money - so we do in fact pay for it on the backend)...

You're question does not really make sense.
Now if you wanted to accuse the conservatives regarding the decision to spend billions on Coal production instead of alternative energy - then yes, that is their snafu.

Not going to happen. And conservatism doesnt use the bible to explain gas prices or their political ideas and just as many liberals drive sux's as republicans. No one likes exxon mobile, you think we like paying a lot for gas? But still US has some of the cheapest gas ont he planet so if you want to complain go to europe you panzy.

No they will point out [quite succinctly] that the Democrats removed the subsides from the oil companies, and that the oil companies raised the price to offset the loss.

Thanks Dem's !

the following it truly is in 2d Combustions 3:40 8. "And it shall come to bypass that the plants shall fail and famine shall cover the earth. And there'll be no hay for the donkeys; verily, I say there'll be no nutrition for the beasts. And % Racer will come out as a action photo, and that is going to likely be sturdy, yet no longer fairly, fairly sturdy, merely highly sturdy. and human beings will bypass to red Robin for burgers, and then communicate about the movie. and then they are going to bypass to a gas station and scouse borrow narrow Jims from the counter at the same time as the clerk isn't searching." ok, there fairly isn't something in there about gas expenditures, yet i want to construct back as a lot as factor 6 in a darned hurry, so I went for it.
